Summary
- Training
Bannerman's Bargain and Rapid Recruitment now work (likely). These Stronghold upgrades lower the troop Training Cost and the Training Time, up to −45% at rank 15. Before, a limit in the game data cancelled each reduction. The update removed the limit. Not yet confirmed in the game.
- Commander
Alicent Hightower: new talent text, old talent effects. Three talents have new text for a rework, but the effects in the data did not change. Combat still uses the old effects. Plan with the old effects.
- New text
Savage Dragons info page. Attacks cost Stamina. A Savage dragon is many armies stacked together, and its armies heal over time. If nobody attacks for too long, all its armies go back to full health.
- Map
Ruin protection stays at 2 minutes. Ruin levels 2 to 5 are now in the data, but the current maps have only level 1 ruins.
- Season 3
Season 3 faction screens. New screens for the Westerlands (Rhaenys), the Stormlands (Daemon) and the Vale (Rhaenyra) use a new map ("CharlieX"). Alliances stay together through a reign transition, and the alliance leader selects the faction.
- Repair
Savage dragons lost a wrong placeholder icon and description. Eight old maps were removed. A few text repairs.
- Combat
No combat change. No dragon, habit, troop or commander effect changed in the data.
These notes compare the main-world data (campaign Bravo) before and after the update. The other campaign data set (Alpha) has the same changes.
Troop training Changed
The game calculates the Training Cost and the Training Time of troops as a multiplier. Lower is better. Upgrades and bonuses lower the multiplier.
Before this update, both multipliers had a minimum of 1.0 in the data. So a reduction could not lower them: 1.0 × (1 − 45%) = 0.55 went back up to 1.0. The update removed the minimum from both. The name of the field (MinValue) comes from the game code. The field order matches the data, but the game did not confirm it yet.
| Stronghold upgrade (Infrastructure) | Lowers | Rank 1 | Rank 15 | Before |
| Bannerman's Bargain | Training Cost (resources) | −10% | −45% | no effect (likely) |
| Rapid Recruitment | Training Time | −10% | −45% | no effect (likely) |
Each rank adds −2.5%: −10%, −12.5%, −15% … −45%. Other reductions (events, items, faction points of interest for Training Time) use the same multipliers, so the same change applies to them.
Check in the game
If you have Bannerman's Bargain or Rapid Recruitment at rank 1 or more, compare the cost and the time of a troop batch with your memory of the values before the update. They must now be lower. Tell an officer on Discord what you see.
Other minimums of 1.0 did not change: reinforcement, recall and hunt march speed. On a speed, a minimum of 1.0 stops only slows, so it does not block a bonus.
Alicent Hightower Text only
The update changed the text of three Alicent talents. The effects in the data did not change, and the data has no new version of these talents. The new text asks for effect values that the old talents do not have. So the game can show wrong or empty numbers in these talents.
For army plans
Combat uses the effects in the data. Plan with the Combat column. The rework will possibly come in a later data update.

Savage dragons and encounters New text
Savage Dragons info page
- Savage dragons are wild dragons that need teamwork. They are made for alliances.
- They spawn on high-level resource tiles. Find them in the Encounters tab of the node finder.
- A Savage dragon is many armies stacked together. You defeat them one by one. Each attack costs Stamina.
- The armies heal over time. Watch the Refresh Timer: if nobody attacks for too long, all the armies go back to full health.
- The page tells players to check the Difficulty Rating, to attack together, and to use different dragon breeds and troop types.
This agrees with the data of 26.9.57184: 50 defender armies and a Stamina cost for Savage dragons.
Other
- The four Savage dragons lost a wrong icon and description (the icon of an Epic habit token). Other encounters, for example the Hightower and Targaryen soldiers, still use that icon.
- New text for three Turncloak encounters: Common Turncloak, Faithless Turncloak and Craven Turncloak. The Craven Turncloak text says that it carries Onyx Honors. The weakness lines are still placeholders. No map data uses them yet.
Ruins Info
| Ruin level | Protection after capture | On the map |
| Level 1 | 2 min | Yes |
| Levels 2 to 5 (new) | 2 min | Not yet |
The new levels have the same values as level 1. Only the level number is different. "On the map" is for the current maps (campaigns Bravo and Alpha). The Season 3 map data is not examined yet, so the new levels are possibly for Season 3.
Season 3 New
Reign transition
- "Join Your Friends!": players in an alliance stay together through a transition.
- You can stay in your alliance, or join a new alliance with others from your faction.
- Your alliance leader selects the preferred faction for the next campaign.
- The faction selection text no longer says that the game gives you a faction if you do not select one. It also no longer says that your faction is not guaranteed.
New faction screens
Four faction screens use a new map picture ("CharlieX"). The map list already has a map with this name. The first three are the three Season 3 factions, with the same capitals and the same Westerlands leader as in our Season 3 brief. So "CharlieX" is very likely the Season 3 map. Dorne is not a Season 3 faction; its screen changed, but no new Dorne screen was added.
| Faction | Capital | Leader |
| Westerlands | Casterly Rock | Rhaenys Targaryen |
| Stormlands | Storm's End | Daemon Targaryen |
| Vale | The Eyrie | Rhaenyra Targaryen |
| Dorne | Sunspear | Rhaenyra Targaryen Ulf White |
Other changes Info
- Commanders info page: the Commander's Seat, Rank, Talents and the eight Traits. "These upgrades will persist across Reigns." A new link "Visit Commander Grove".
- Text repairs: "Star Rank" and "Habit" in the campaign change notice; "Alliance Leader".
- Map list: eight old maps were removed (Alpha 3 and 4, Bravo 1 and 2). No live campaign uses them.
- New app 26.9.57505: new art for 56 of 374 game bundles, for example the army builder, the commander screens, the reign and faction screens, the mail and battle report icons, the node finder and six dragon models. The app uses the same game data as the old app.
- Campaign Alpha only: three tutorial objectives got new fields (a counter, a target and an item: a starter key, 10 dragon food, a standard key). This is not in our current world (campaign Bravo).
